The "First" Transport Is Away

The Blip Festival documentary is officially on its way to compete for a coveted spot in next year's South By Southwest lineup. All we can do now is wait.

In other news:

The Behind The Scenes for Push has been in the works for a little over a month now. Principal Photography starts a week from tomorrow. Not too much to say on the matter (for a number of reasons) except to say that it is currently our highest hurdle in the race to finish all 32 videos for the Blip Fest 2007 performance DVD we plan on selling at this year's festival. To make a long story short, all I do now is edit.
Yesterday, after a full day of work, I sat down and cut away at YMCK for an hour two, passed out, woke up at 6am, and finished the rest before getting ready for work around 9. The good news? Owens and I have been turning them out at a pretty fast clip. In the last three days or so we've taken care of Neil Voss, YMCK, Bit Shifter, Herbert Weixelbaum, and an amazing, jaw dropping Jeroen Tel video that Owens seemingly pulled out of nowhere. There's one cut in there that will probably end up being my favorite moment from this entire project.

So yeah, that about sums things up for now I think. I'm told I might be seeing some more Natural Causes stuff next week. Fingers crossed.
